Child Crisis Arizona is the first net-zero nonprofit facility in Arizona, meaning we create more energy than we use each year. We are committed to sustainability and have incorporated several eco-friendly features into our campus, including:
The Center for Child & Family Wellness was built with intentionality and a focus on weaving together design, construction and natural beauty while using recycled and sustainable materials. Our building team utilized the Living Future Challenge Framework to guide each of these elements. By including CORE Living Building Challenge Imperatives into the creation of this space, we seek to become a Certified Living Petal Project which is an internationally recognized building challenge organized into seven performance areas.
