- Set Up Your Clipboard – Download your scavenger hunt checklist and attach it to your clipboard, along with a pencil.
- Explain The Rules – Hand your kid(s) the clip board and let them know that you’ll be going on a Spy walk around your neighborhood and trying to find all of the items on your list. If your child struggles with reading it might be helpful to read through the items on the page together before you go on your walk.
- Go On Your Walk! – Grab your clipboards and start looking for the things on your checklist! For added fun, make it a competition and see who can find the things on your checklist the fastest.
- BONUS LEARNING – When the walk is over, have your child(ren) write down their favorite thing they saw on their walk and draw a picture of themselves finding the items on your scavenger hunt. A special worksheet just for this is included in the scavenger hunt checklist printable.
