At Child Crisis Arizona, we believe every child and family deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. Our new Center for Child & Family Wellness is a testament to this belief, offering a state-of-the-art facility designed to support and uplift our community.

A holistic approach

Our new 38,000 square-foot campus is designed to promote overall well-being through:

Community Education

Community classes aimed at providing job skills training, mentoring, financial education workshops and positive parenting classes.

Wellness Classes

Offering dance and music classes to the community as a fun and creative outlet for self-expression and self-care.

Full-Service Kitchen

Providing nutritious meals for children and youth in our Early Education, shelter and group home and a monthly food pantry event for the families in our Early Education program.

Flex Space for Medical, Health & Wellness

Multi-purpose space to accommodate community and employee medical, health and wellness needs.

Safe Kids Car Seat Safety Station

Offering classes on proper car seat installation and distributing free car or booster seats to low-income families who qualify.

Counseling Services

Licensed counselors providing mental health care for children and youth who have experienced trauma in addition to sensory and play therapy rooms.

Resource Distribution Center

Provides basic need items to children, youth and families in need.

Sustainability elements

Child Crisis Arizona is the first net-zero nonprofit facility in Arizona, meaning we create more energy than we use each year. We are committed to sustainability and have incorporated several eco-friendly features into our campus, including:

Energy-Efficient Design

Utilizing solar panels and energy-saving appliances to reduce our carbon footprint. Zero Carbon Industrial kitchen supplying healthy meals for children and youth in our Early Education, shelter and group home. Solar panels to be installed in 2025.

Water Conservation

Implementing low-flow fixtures and a rainwater harvesting system to conserve water, while utilizing a graywater system to irrigate courtyard landscaping.

Green Spaces

Creating lush, green areas to promote a healthy environment and well-being.

Recycling Programs

Encouraging waste reduction and recycling throughout our campus.

Certified Living Petal Project

The Center for Child & Family Wellness is a Certified Living Petal Project, an internationally recognized building challenge organized into seven performance areas.
