Child Crisis Arizona believes that the path out of poverty is education. Research demonstrates that early childhood is the place to start and that these efforts must include the child’s entire family to overcome racial and ethnic inequities and break the cycle of generational poverty. To impact this very real community need, Child Crisis Arizona has offered Early Education Services to infants, toddlers, and their families since 1999.
Families in these programs are assigned a Family Support Specialist who work with them to identify problems and find resources to become stronger family units. As we work to eliminate the barriers these low-income families have to be successful, they are better able to support their child’s education. Support services not only extend to the adults, but to the siblings as well. The Phoenix Early Education Center serves families from the poorest zip codes in the city, while the Mesa Early Education Center serves any eligible family within Mesa.
Continue motivating our families and children as always. Continue to do an excellent job as you have done so far with our children. Thank you very much.”
