Therapy helps a child develop new skills and coping strategies to help them be successful in their day-to-day activities. Therapy also gives families support in providing children with a safe, loving and structured environment. Our clinicians use therapeutic techniques appropriate to the child’s developmental stage.
Child Crisis Arizona provides various resources to families in need. Child Crisis Arizona has contracts to provide children’s counseling by highly skilled licensed therapists.

Behavioral health plays a vital role in child welfare and human services. We are currently exploring opportunities to diversify funding sources and expand services offered (i.e. after school behavioral health care, groups for our shelter children, services to our foster children, plus an additional and more central location in Phoenix).
Our counseling and behavioral health program has been in service since early 2016. It’s crucial to expand this program in order to remain competitive and relevant. Lastly, we recently joined the AZ Council. They have valuable networking opportunities to enhance our Behavioral Health Services for the children and families we support.
